Description

Band Formation: Trumpet 1 (Bb and C), Trumpet 2 (Bb and C), Horn (F and Eb), Trombone (Bb and C), Tuba. Ragtime is mainly a pianistic form born towards the end of the late 19th century in the USA characterised by syncopate rhythm. Repeating the famous Scott Joplin’s ragtime, the writer has composed this piece with the intention to recreate the typical musical atmosphere from the beginning of the 20th century.
