Description
German Dance KV 605 N. 3. A wonderful brief masterpiece, fruit of the maturity of Mozart (1756-1791) in a brilliant and effective instrumentation. This passage, is graceful and rich of humour, evokes with a shrew use of “jingle bells” and “postillion cornet”, a fantastic travel in sleigh. It is part of three German dances KV 605, composed by Mozart, as musician of the court theatre, for the carnival of 1791.
